Search everywhere, or just here
On both platforms a button at the right of the search box toggles between searching the current SILO and searching your whole library. The desktop tooltip and the phone's placeholder text ("Search this SILO" or "Search all SILOs") tell you which mode you are in.The command palette
Press Ctrl/Cmd+K on the desktop for a palette that jumps to any view, any SILO, or any settings page. It is usually quicker than reaching for the rail.
On the phone
The search box sits at the top of the note list. The header shows how many notes matched, so you can tell straight away whether to narrow the query.
