Read the guide
Twenty articles with screenshots and clips captured from both the desktop app and the phone, from your first note through to backups, sync and privacy. The search box at the top goes through every word of every article, so a single word usually gets you there.
Ask SILO Sam
The whole guide ships inside SILONotes, so you do not have to come here for it. Open Chat and ask Sam how a feature works or where a setting lives. It searches the guide on your device, answers for the app you are actually holding, says when the other platform differs, and links the article it used. If the guide does not cover your question, Sam says so in one sentence and gives you the address here rather than inventing an answer.

SILONotes is a small operation, so a reply can take a few days. Every message is read.
Before you write
A short account of what you did gets to an answer faster than a description of how it felt. Three things help most:
- Which app. The desktop app on Windows, macOS or Linux, or the Android app.
- What you did, step by step, and what happened instead of what you expected.
- Whether it happens every time, or only once. A screenshot helps if there was anything to see.
Please do not send an API key, a password, or a backup recovery key. Nobody here needs one, and nobody here can recover one for you.
Reporting a problem
If something is broken rather than confusing, say so in the subject line and lead with the steps. It is worth checking the guide article for that feature first. Where a behaviour is known and not yet fixed, the article says so plainly and tells you what it means for your notes, so you may find yours already written down.
